Role Brief :

To define, design, and govern scalable, secure, and modern application architectures aligned with ELGis digital transformation goals. The Application Architect will play a key role in modernizing legacy systems, driving cloud adoption, enabling integration across enterprise platforms, and fostering technology innovation.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Implement the enterprise application architecture strategy.

- Ensure application solutions deliver business value and support digital transformation.

- Collaborate on technology trends and innovations.

- Share knowledge and best practices to enhance the organization's architecture capabilities.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

- Robust architecture designs supporting business growth and uptime

- Microservices-based, cloud-native applications replacing monolithic systems

- Seamless connectivity between ERP, CRM, PLM, MES, and other platforms

- CI/CD-enabled architecture supporting fast releases

- Incorporation of emerging technologies and sustainable practices

- Robust architecture designs supporting business growth and uptime

- Selection of right frameworks, languages, and integration tools

- Platform-native solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP

- DevOps practices, secure coding, architecture reviews

- Evaluation and adoption of AI/ML, IoT, and low-code platforms

- Mentoring developers and aligning them with architectural principles

- Selection of right frameworks, languages, and integration tools

Preferred candidate profile :

- 8 to 10 years in application architecture/design roles

- Bachelor's in CS/IT/Engineering (Masters preferred)

- Cloud Architect Certified (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Proven experience modernizing legacy applications and deploying cloud-based solutions

- Experience designing and delivering application solutions in complex/global enterprise

environments

- Exposure to manufacturing or industrial application landscapes (ERP, MES, PLM) preferred

- TOGAF (preferred)

- DevOps/CI-CD Tools (e.g., Jenkins, Kubernetes) Certified
