Role Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of scalable, secure, and cloud-native web applications.

In this role, you will bridge business needs with technical execution defining end-to-end architectures, driving AWS-based microservices, and establishing DevOps excellence.

You will also mentor engineering teams and support pre-sales solutioning, making a direct impact on product evolution and client success.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture for web and full-stack applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and non-functional requirements (scalability, security, reliability).

- Architect cloud-native, highly resilient solutions leveraging microservices, event-driven patterns, and API-first design principles.

- Lead technology selection, architectural governance, and trade-off analysis across delivery teams.

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Design and oversee AWS cloud architecture including compute (EC2, Lambda, EKS), storage (S3, RDS), networking (VPC, CloudFront), and security (IAM, WAF).

- Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK).

DevOps & Delivery :

- Establish and evolve CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).

- Review designs, code, and deployment artifacts to enforce performance, security, and observability standards.

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Partner with product management, business stakeholders, and delivery leads to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Mentor technical teams, define coding and architecture best practices, and conduct architecture reviews.

- Support pre-sales and solutioning activities, including effort estimation, proposal creation, and client presentations (as needed).

Required Technical Skills :

- Web & Full-Stack Architecture : Deep understanding of front-end (React/Angular/Vue) and back-end (Java, Node.js, Python) ecosystems.

- Cloud-Native & Scalable Design : Proven experience building 12-factor apps, distributed systems, and high-throughput platforms.

- Microservices & Event-Driven Systems : Hands-on with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS) and orchestration/choreography patterns.

- API-First Design : REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI/Swagger, API gateways, versioning, and security (OAuth2/JWT).

- AWS Expertise : EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch.

- DevOps & Automation : CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform / AWS CDK.

Nice to Have :

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams.

- Background in SaaS or enterprise-scale system architecture (multi-tenancy, high availability, disaster recovery).

- Client-facing solution architecture experience in consulting or product companies.

- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect - Professional, Kubernetes CKA, or Terraform Associate).
