Job Description :

Key responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java.

- Build REST APIs and service integrations for internal applications.

- Develop web interfaces and reusable components using Angular and TypeScript.

- Work with MongoDB and relational databases as required.

- Translate functional requirements into technical designs and working software.

- Write unit tests and support integration and system testing.

- Review code and contribute to development standards.

- Investigate defects, troubleshoot production issues, and implement fixes.

- Maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and support procedures.

- Work with data, AI, product, and engineering teams across locations.

- Participate in design discussions, sprint planning, code reviews, and release activities.

Required skills and experience :

- 5 to 7 years of professional software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java.

- Good experience with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks.

- Good experience with Angular and TypeScript.

- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.

- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

- Experience with unit testing, debugging, Git, and CI/CD practices.

- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

- Experience with MongoDB is a plus.

- Familiarity with authentication, authorisation, and API security.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good to have :

- Experience working on data platforms, AI applications, or financial services applications.

- Knowledge of Spring Data, Spring Security, or Hibernate.

- Experience with asynchronous processing and messaging systems.

- Exposure to cloud platforms and container-based development.

- Familiarity with secure coding practices.

- Experience working in Agile development teams.

Education :

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
