Roles and responsibilities:

- Modern Paradigms: Define and implement traditional, hybrid, and headless/composable architectures using AEM Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs, and modern frontend frameworks.

- Integration Ecosystem: Architect seamless integrations between AEM and third-party systems, microservices, and modern middleware using Adobe App Builder and Adobe I/O Events.

- Multi-Site & Global Governance: Establish foundational blueprints for Multi-Site Management (MSM), Blueprints, and Live Copy strategies across complex multi-brand, multi-lingual enterprise setups.

- Personalization & Analytics: Partner with marketing teams to design and implement advanced personalization, content targeting, and analytics scenarios using Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP / Real-Time CDP).

- Asset Management: Optimize digital asset lifecycles, metadata schemas, and smart tagging workflows, incorporating AEM Assets and Adobe GenStudio / Firefly (Generative AI) capabilities.

- Hands-on Leadership: Act as a hands-on architect capable of building core frameworks, developing proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and establishing strict coding blueprints (Sling Models, Core Components).

- Modern DevOps: Oversee automated deployment pipelines using Adobe Cloud Manager, defining CI/CD governance, quality gates, and automated testing strategies.

- Performance & Security: Lead optimization strategies for CDN configurations (Fastly/Cloudflare), Dispatcher caching rules, and overall platform performance, security, and Core Web Vitals.

- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate complex architectural designs, risks, and trade-offs to both technical engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Technical and Functional Skills:

- Minimum 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 6+ years dedicated to architecting and leading large-scale enterprise Web Content Management (WCM) solutions.

- Proven track record of architecting and successfully delivering at least 2 large-scale implementations on AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) or migrations from AEM 6.x to Cloud Service.

- Demonstrated experience in consulting environments, managing complex deliverables, scoping technical requirements, and managing client expectations.

- Deep AEM Expertise: Mastery of Apache Sling, JCR (Oak), OSGi R7+, Core Components, Context-Aware Configurations, and Sling Models.

- Modern Frontend Frameworks: Strong understanding of single-page application (SPA) architectures and frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue.js, alongside standard HTML5/CSS3/SASS.

- Cloud & Microservices: Practical experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies. Robust understanding of RESTful microservices built via Node.js or Spring Boot.

- Agile Delivery: Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, leading technical grooming sessions, and driving sprint velocity.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Adobe Certified Master - Adobe Experience Manager Architect (Strongly Preferred).

- Additional certifications in Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Experience Platform are a major plus.

- Experience implementing Edge Delivery Services (EDS) or Franklin within the AEM ecosystem.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to author high-quality technical blueprints, system architecture documentation, and delivery roadmaps.
