E2E Networks - Security Operations Center Analyst - Firewall Management

Role Overview :

We are seeking a proactive Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents. The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining organizational security posture and ensuring timely incident response.

Key Responsibilities :

Security Monitoring & Incident Detection :

- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools.

- Analyze logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, servers, and cloud platforms.

- Investigate suspicious activities and potential security breaches.

- Perform real-time threat monitoring and alert triage.

Incident Response :

- Respond to cybersecurity incidents following established response procedures.

- Conduct root cause analysis and forensic investigations.

- Escalate critical security incidents appropriately.

- Document incidents, findings, and remediation actions.

Threat Management :

- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and identify emerging threats.

- Perform vulnerability assessments and security reviews.

- Assist in threat hunting activities and malware analysis.

- Recommend preventive and corrective security measures.

Security Operations :

- Maintain and optimize security monitoring tools.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

- Support audit activities and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports.

Required Technical Skills :

- SIEM Tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, LogRhythm)

- EDR Solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender)

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

- Certifications such as :

1. Security+

2. CEH

3. CySA+

4. GSEC

5. SC-200 (Microsoft Security Operations Analyst)

- Ability to work in rotational shifts within a 24x7 SOC environment.
