Drupal Developer - Website Maintenance

Key Responsibilities :

Drupal Development :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom modules, themes, and templates for Drupal-based applications.

- Maintain and enhance existing Drupal websites and applications.

- Ensure solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.

Customization & Integration :

- Customize core Drupal functionalities and extend capabilities through contributed and custom modules.

- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and external applications with Drupal.

- Work with headless Drupal implementations and modern front-end frameworks if required.

Site Administration & Content Management :

- Configure content types, taxonomies, views, and workflows.

- Support site migrations, upgrades, and deployments.

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Drupal-related issues.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Partner with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.

- Translate functional and business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.

- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

Quality & Standards :

- Follow best practices for coding, architecture, security, and performance optimization.

- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).

- Maintain documentation of development processes, technical designs, and system configurations.

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 3-7 years of professional experience as a Drupal Developer.

- Strong expertise in Drupal 8/9/10, with hands-on experience in module and theme development.

- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and related web technologies.

- Experience with Twig templating, Drupal APIs, and configuration management.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub).

- Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization techniques.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to headless Drupal (REST/JSON :API, GraphQL) and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Understanding of SEO principles and web accessibility standards.

- Contribution to the Drupal community (modules, patches, forums)
