Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Display Developer with strong expertise in Embedded Linux, C/C++, Linux Kernel Device Drivers, and Display Subsystems to design, develop, and optimize display solutions for next-generation embedded platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Linux display driver development, multimedia frameworks, DRM/KMS architecture, and embedded graphics pipelines. The role requires deep technical expertise in developing and debugging low-level display software while collaborating with hardware, BSP, multimedia, and application teams to deliver high-performance display solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded display software for Linux-based platforms.
- Develop, customize, and optimize Linux kernel device drivers for display subsystems.
- Work extensively on display stack components including DRM (Direct Rendering Manager), KMS (Kernel Mode Setting), and Weston compositor.
- Develop and debug display drivers for embedded hardware platforms.
- Integrate display hardware with Linux kernel and embedded operating systems.
- Implement and optimize display rendering pipelines for improved graphics performance.
- Collaborate with hardware, BSP, multimedia, and application teams for board bring-up and display enablement.
- Perform debugging and root cause analysis for display-related issues using kernel logs, tracing tools, and debugging utilities.
- Optimize display performance, memory utilization, boot time, and power consumption.
- Support multimedia frameworks and graphics pipeline integration.
- Develop low-level software modules for display controller interfaces.
- Work on framebuffer management and display synchronization mechanisms.
- Analyze kernel crashes, display artifacts, synchronization issues, and driver failures.
- Participate in software architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and software development best practices.
- Create technical documentation for display architecture, driver implementation, and debugging procedures.
- Support system integration, validation, and customer issue resolution.
- Stay updated with advancements in Linux graphics stack, embedded display technologies, and kernel development.
