Role Overview :

Were looking for a Remote Java Developer to join our backend engineering team. Youll play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams across geographies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

- Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to microservice architecture.

- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless product delivery.

- Work with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Ensure code quality, scalability, and security across systems.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong command over Java (Core + Advanced), Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.

- Experience developing REST APIs and working with JSON/XML data formats.

- Sound understanding of OOPs, data structures, and algorithms.

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and collaborative tools.

- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.

- Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/GCP) or Docker is a plus.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

- Prior work experience with distributed teams or US-based clients.

Compensation :

- INR 12-18 LPA (Exceptions possible for outstanding candidates)

Working days and shifts:
- Monday to Friday with US Client Overlap (11 am to 8pm)
