Role Overview :

As a DevSecOps Engineer at Sysmind Tech, you will play a critical role in integrating security practices into our DevOps pipeline, ensuring the secure and efficient delivery of our software products and services.

You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to implement and maintain security controls, automate security testing, and proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

Your expertise will be instrumental in building a robust and secure software development lifecycle, protecting our clients and our organization from potential threats.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating security tools and practices at every stage for enhanced application security.

- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses in our systems and applications, safeguarding sensitive data.

- Automate security compliance checks and reporting to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, minimizing risk and maintaining trust.

- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to guide development and operations teams in building secure solutions, fostering a security-conscious culture.

- Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to mitigate threats and prevent data breaches, protecting our organization's reputation and assets.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement security best practices in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring the secure deployment and management of our applications.

- Manage and maintain security tools and infrastructure, ensuring their effectiveness and availability for continuous security monitoring and protection.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Proven expertise in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or Metasploit.

- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, with experience in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating security tasks and compliance checks.

- In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, with a focus on security best practices.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate security risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for automating security configurations and compliance.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
