Job Purpose :

To contribute as a dedicated developer in Web API development using .NET Core, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Job Description :

As a .NetCore Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and APIs. You will work closely with senior developers and leads, taking ownership of assigned tasks and contributing to the full development lifecycle.

Relevant Skills :

- ASP.Net MVC & Web API : Strong understanding and hands-on experience with ASP.Net MVC

and Web API development.

- Front-end Technologies : Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript technologies such as jQuery, and

Bootstrap.

- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) : Solid knowledge in object-oriented programming

principles and practices.

- Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) : Good understanding of service-oriented architecture

concepts.

- LINQ : Proficient in writing LINQ queries.

- SQL Databases : Experience in writing good SQL queries for MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

- Data Access Technologies : Experience in working with Data Access technologies like ADO.NET

or Entity Framework.

- .NET Core : Hands-on experience in working with .NET Core.

- Unit Testing : Experience in writing automated unit tests.

- Version Control : Experience in Git for version control and understanding standard branching/merge practices.

- Cloud Services (Optional) : Familiarity with cloud services like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- SaaS/PaaS Architecture (Optional) : Exposure to developing Multi-tenanted SaaS / PaaS system architecture.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Work under the guidance of a senior developer or lead to effectively complete assigned development tasks.

- Understand and consistently follow best practices in coding, security, and performance.

- Capability to understand user stories, translate them into technical specifications, and convert these into working code.

- Write clean, scalable code and develop basic unit tests to ensure code quality.

- Debug and resolve basic development issues with appropriate support and guidance from the team.

- Adhere to modern agile-based development processes, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles for unit testing.

- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and support.

- Commit to continuous learning and upskilling in .NET technologies and relevant tools used in the project.

- Possess excellent analytical skills to understand requirements in detail and contribute to effective solutions.
