Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, ensuring continuous monitoring and timely detection of security threats.

- Drive incident response, investigation, containment, recovery, and root cause analysis for cybersecurity incidents.

- Oversee cyber assurance activities, including vulnerability management, security assessments, and compliance initiatives.

- Monitor and analyze threat intelligence to proactively identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Define, track, and report security KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, and operational metrics to leadership.

- Develop, implement, and maintain Security SOPs, incident response playbooks, and operational processes.

- Coordinate internal and external security audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings and compliance requirements.

- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application Development, and Plant IT teams to implement security controls and support secure project delivery.

- Work closely with managed security service providers (MSSPs), security vendors, and internal stakeholders to improve security operations.

- Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience initiatives.

- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and industry best practices to enhance the organization's security posture.

Required Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

- 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Security Operations, with hands-on experience in SOC management.

- Strong expertise in SOC operations, SIEM monitoring, incident response, cyber assurance, threat intelligence, and security governance.

- Experience in security audits, vulnerability management, security operations processes, and compliance activities.

- Experience working with Infrastructure, Application Development, and OT/Plant IT environments.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Experience in the manufacturing or automotive sector is highly preferred.
