Job Title : Lead Fabric Data Engineer - 8+ years.

Location : Remote.

Responsibilities :

- Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF and/or Fabric.

- Develop scalable data transformations using SQL & PySpark.

- Implement data models and Lakehouse architectures.

- Perform data cleansing, migration, and validation.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance.

- Support testing, deployments, and CI/CD processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Technical Skills and Qualifications :

1. Must to have :

- 8+ years of experience in data engineering.

- Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Fabric.

- Strong SQL skills (T-SQL/PL-SQL) with query optimization and performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for pipeline design and orchestration.

- Experience with PySpark, Databricks, and Fabric Spark.

- Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (SCD, star schema).

- Experience with Azure Data Services (ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL/Synapse).

- Familiarity with CI/CD & DevOps (Azure DevOps, Git).

2. Nice to have :

- Exposure to streaming technologies (Event Hub/Kafka).

- Experience with Power BI / Fabric semantic models.

- Understanding of data security & governance.
