Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager Automotive Engineering to own the execution of automotive engineering projects within the Product Engineering Services (PES) organization. The role will be responsible for ensuring predictable delivery against scope, cost, schedule, quality, compliance, and customer commitments, while managing engineering teams and coordinating closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage project delivery planning, scope, milestones, effort, dependencies, risks, issues, and reporting.
- Ensure projects meet committed timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, customer quality gates, and internal processes.
- Act as the primary delivery contact for assigned customer stakeholders.
- Present project status, risks, dependencies, staffing requirements, and corrective actions during customer and management reviews.
- Lead project teams, module leads, Scrum teams, and engineers across 2060 member engagements.
- Manage staffing, resource allocation, billability, onboarding, ramp-up, productivity, coaching, and skill-gap closure.
- Coordinate multiple automotive engineering workstreams including : SDV, AUTOSAR, ECU Software, HMI & Telematics, Diagnostics, HIL/SIL, and Embedded Software.
- Ensure design quality, review discipline, traceability, test coverage, defect prevention, automation, and reusable components.
Automotive Technology & Standards :
- Apply relevant automotive technologies, trends, and standards across SDV, AUTOSAR, Electrification, ADAS, Connected Vehicles, OTA, Diagnostics, HIL/SIL, Cybersecurity, Functional Safety, and AI-assisted engineering.
- Translate practice direction into project plans, checklists, training actions, risk mitigation, estimates, and delivery improvements.
Required Experience & Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15 years of experience in software, embedded, or product engineering delivery.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in automotive embedded software delivery.
- Experience managing 20 to 60 engineers across development, integration, validation, and release cycles.
- Strong knowledge of : AUTOSAR, Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV), ECU Software, HMI / Telematics, Automotive Diagnostics, HIL / SIL, ASPICE, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, SOTIF, MISRA C/C++, and Automotive quality processes.
