Role Overview :

As a Product Engineer at Deciops.ai, you will bridge the gap between high-level product vision and technical execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to design, build, and deploy robust features that enhance our core AI offerings. Your day-to-day will involve architecting scalable backend systems, integrating complex LLM workflows, and ensuring that our product remains intuitive and performant for our enterprise clients. You will have a direct impact on the product roadmap, shaping how our users interact with AI-powered solutions to solve real-world business challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop scalable backend services using Python to support high-traffic AI applications and data pipelines.

- Design and implement seamless API integrations with third-party platforms to ensure interoperability and data flow across the product ecosystem.

- Engineer and optimize LLM-based features, focusing on prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and latency reduction to improve user experience.

- Collaborate with product designers to translate user requirements into functional, high-performance technical specifications.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues to maintain high availability and reliability for enterprise customers.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews to uphold high standards of software craftsmanship and architectural integrity.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building production-grade applications using Python, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and system design.

- Proven ability to design and manage complex API integrations, ensuring secure and efficient communication between distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex to build intelligent, generative AI applications.

- Strong product design sensibility, with the ability to balance technical constraints against user experience requirements.

- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Bangalore.

- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, early-stage environment, demonstrating high ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering.
