About the Role :

We are seeking a proactive WordPress Consultant to join our Technical Department in Lucknow.

This is an Entry Level role requiring 23 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, and maintenance of professional websites using WordPress.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with strong foundational skills in web technologies and a keen interest in good design principles.

Key Responsibilities :

- Website Development & Implementation : Design, develop, and implement functional, high-quality websites using the WordPress platform based on defined project specifications.

- Frontend Engineering : Write standards-based, semantic HTML and CSS code, developing modern layouts using table-less design, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

- Scripting and Interactivity : Apply proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML/HTML5 to develop interactive and dynamic user interfaces and features.

- Backend Integration : Utilize PHP in an object-orientated manner to customize themes, develop custom functionality, and implement essential workflows.

- Code Quality & Maintenance : Produce well-commented and structured code that adheres to development best practices, ensuring ease of maintenance and scalability.

- Independent Execution : Demonstrate the ability to work independently on assigned tasks while being results-oriented and taking initiative.

- Collaboration & Communication : Maintain good communication skills for effective collaboration with the Departmental Head and cross-functional teams.

Required Skill Set (Mandatory Skills) :

- Experience : 23 years of experience in designing and developing websites using WordPress.

- Education : Minimum diploma holders or above in IT or Software Engineering (BE/B.Tech/MCA preferred).

- Frontend Mastery : Proficient and experienced in XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML/HTML5.

- Code Standards : Proven ability to write standards-based, semantic HTML and CSS and modern layouts using table-less design.

- PHP : Experience working with PHP in an object-orientated manner and developing workflows using PHP.

- Work Ethic : Must be self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills :

Candidates with a good understanding of fundamental design principles and user experience (UX) best practices will be given preference
