Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IBM DataStage Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data integration and ETL solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in DataStage, data warehousing, SQL, and data migration projects, with the ability to build scalable and high-performance data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into ETL designs.

- Develop and maintain DataStage jobs, sequences, shared containers, and reusable components.

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple source systems.

- Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, DBAs, and other stakeholders.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are met.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.

- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage.

- Hands-on experience in ETL design and development.

- Strong SQL and database development skills.

- Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, or other relational databases.

- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

- Experience with DataStage components: Parallel Jobs, Server Jobs, Sequencers, Shared Containers, Job Parameters, Data Quality Stages.

- Strong understanding of data integration and data migration processes.

- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.

- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
