Job Summary :

The Data Direct Networks Technology Center seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to design, develop and maintain embedded storage firmware for our SFA product line. The ideal candidate will be involved with all aspects of the embedded software development process and will work with other engineers collaborating on the architecture, design and implementation of storage system features and new storage platforms. This is a hybrid role. The ideal candidate should be able to come into the offices, in either Pune or Bangalore few times a week.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and test firmware features for the SFA storage controllers.

- Isolate and resolve defects.

- Collaborate with local and remote team members.

- Be involved with all phases of the development life cycle including design documentation and unit test implementation as required.

- Be involved with the design of new SFA platforms.

Requirements :

- BS or MS in computer science or electrical engineering or related discipline, or comparable experience.

- 12+ years of experience

- Knowledge of PCIe (PCI Express), SCSI, NVME and RAID technologies is desirable.

- Experience with embedded firmware development.

- Experience with C and Linux programming.

- Strong debugging and development skills.

- Strong team player with good oral and written communication skills.

- Strong troubleshooting skills.
