Role :

Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant - Databricks Developer. In this role, the Databricks Developer is responsible for solving real-world cutting-edge problems to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities :

- Maintain close awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application for service offerings and products.

- Work with architects and lead engineers for solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.

- Demonstrate strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

- Must have experience in the Data Engineering domain.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors Degree or equivalency (CS, CE, CIS, IS, MIS, or engineering discipline) or equivalent work experience.

- Excellent coding skills in Python or Scala (preferably Python).

- Must have implemented at least 4 projects end-to-end in Databricks.

- Strong skills in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Python, and Pyspark.

- Expert with database technologies and ETL tools.

- Hands-on experience designing and developing scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Databricks workflows orchestration, Python, and Pyspark.

- Good knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platform services.

- Good knowledge of Unity Catalog implementation and integration with Snowflake.

- Must be well-versed with Databricks Lakehouse concepts and implementation in enterprise environments.

- Strong in SQL and Spark-SQL with performance optimization skills.

- Experience with both Batch and streaming data pipelines.

- Strong in writing unit test cases and integration tests.

- Strong communication skills and experience working in teams of 5+ members.
