We are building an alternative social networking platform focused on helping people discover relevant information through trusted networks, rather than engagement-driven algorithms.

Role & Responsibilities :

As the first Data Scientist, you will work directly with the founder and engineering team, with end-to-end ownership of:

Search & Retrieval :

- Building semantic search and AI-powered information discovery systems.

Recommendation & Ranking :

- Developing algorithms for personalised feeds, topic discovery and people recommendations.

LLM Evaluation :

- Designing evaluation frameworks to measure the quality and relevance of AI-generated answers and recommendations.

Privacy-Aware AI :

- Building algorithms that respect user-level access controls and data privacy.

What we're looking for :

- 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science / Machine Learning, with hands-on expertise in recommendation systems, ranking, search or retrieval, Python, SQL, embeddings and production ML systems.

- Bengaluru | Work mode : In-office
