Data Scientist Role :

Applies strong expertise in AI through use of machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype and build next generation advanced analytics engines and services. They collaborate to define the technical problem statement and hypothesis to test; develop efficient and accurate analytical models that mimic business decisions and incorporates them into analytical data products or tools with the support of a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with business partners to develop solutions that meets objectives utilizing cutting edge techniques and tools.

- Effectively communicate the analytics approach and how it will meet and address objectives to business partners.

- Advocate and educate on the value of data driven decision making focusing on the how and why of solving problems.

- Lead analytic approaches, integrating work into applications and tools with data engineers, business leads, analysts and developers.

- Create repeatable, interpretable, dynamic and scalable models that are seamlessly incorporated into analytic data products.

- Engineer features by using their business acumen to find new ways to combine disparate internal and external data sources.

- Stay connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements.

Domain Experience :

- Demonstrated data science skill set.

- Must have Python or R proficiency and proficiency writing complex SQL queries.

- Must have proficiency with Machine Learning to solve clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, simulation and optimization problems on large scale data sets.

- Must have proven ability to merge and transform disparate internal and external data sets together to create new features.

- Experience with Big Data technologies or cloud ML tools desired.

- Experience with supporting deployment, monitoring, maintenance and enhancement of models desired.

- Experience with data visualization tools preferred.

- Specialization required in NLP and text, image and video, chatbots, geospatial, audio, LLMs.

- Base knowledge in storage and ML operation.

Technical Skills :

- Bachelor's degree required, preferred in data or computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, etc.

- 2+ years of experience in statistical and/or data science/business intelligence role.

- Experience working with Traditional or GenAI.
