Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and Gurobi Optimization. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mathematical optimization, analytical modelling, and data-driven problem-solving, with the ability to develop and optimize solutions for complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement data science and optimization solutions to address complex business and operational challenges.

- Build, formulate, and solve mathematical optimization models using Gurobi.

- Apply operations research techniques, including mathematical programming and constraint-based optimization, to support business decision-making.

- Develop data processing, modelling, and optimization workflows using Python and SQL.

- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, constraints, and opportunities for improving business outcomes.

- Translate business requirements into optimization problems, defining objective functions, decision variables, and constraints.

- Evaluate model performance, validate results, and improve solution quality, efficiency, and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business problems and translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.

- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code, following established development and version-control practices.

- Support the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of analytical and optimization solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in Data Science, with strong hands-on experience in optimization.

- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Gurobi Optimization.

- Strong understanding of mathematical optimization, optimization modelling, and problem-solving techniques.

- Ability to translate business requirements into mathematical models and implement effective optimization solutions.

- Experience working with complex datasets and developing data-driven solutions.

- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
