What We're Looking For :

- We're seeking an experienced privacy leader with 10 - 14 years of experience in Data Protection, Privacy, Information Governance, or Regulatory Compliance and a proven track record of leading enterprise privacy programmes.

- You bring deep expertise in the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, privacy governance, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), regulatory compliance, incident management, and privacy risk management.

- You're a strategic leader who can partner across Technology, Product, Legal, and Business teams, influence senior stakeholders, and translate regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes.

- Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent are preferred.

What You'll Do :

- You'll lead ONDC's enterprise-wide privacy and data protection function, serving as the designated Data Protection Officer under the DPDP Act, 2023.

- You'll define and strengthen privacy governance frameworks, policies, and controls, embed privacy by design across products and technology, lead DPIAs, privacy audits, breach response, and regulatory engagement, while ensuring compliance with evolving data protection regulations.

- You'll also work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a privacy-first culture and build trusted, responsible data practices across the organisation.
