Role Summary :

In this role, the ideal candidate will architect the data platform blueprint and implement the design, ensuring cohesive integration between systems and data models. They will balance hands-on architectural guidance with execution ownership, client leadership, and people development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect the data platform blueprint and implement the design.

- Collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects for cohesive integration.

- Lead enterprise-scale Lakehouse initiatives as a Data Architect and Data Engineer.

- Design and build complex pipelines using Delta Lake and Auto Loader.

- Architect data ingestion and transformation using DLT Expectations.

- Lead implementation of Unity Catalog and guide organization-wide governance.

- Enable cross-platform data access using Lakehouse Federation.

- Leverage Databricks Marketplace for secure data asset publication.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- Minimum 12 years of total experience.

- Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture and engineering.

- Expert-level understanding of Data & Analytics Architecture patterns.

- Strong programming and debugging skills in Python.

- Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms : AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Experience with PySpark for building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

Nice to Have :

- Databricks Certified Professional or similar certifications.

- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and popular ML libraries.

- Experience with big data processing tools like Spark or Hadoop.
