Role Overview :

We are looking for a Data Migration Developer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse migration. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end data migration activities including data mapping, ETL, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and production loads.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute end-to-end data migration for Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse.

- Perform source-to-target mapping and define transformation and validation rules.

- Develop and manage ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

- Migrate data across Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Activities, Opportunities, Quotes, Products, Price Lists, and supporting reference data.

- Implement duplicate detection, matching, merging, and survivorship logic.

- Work with relevant Dynamics 365 / Dataverse migration tools.

- Execute trial, mock, and production data loads.

- Establish and validate control totals to ensure data completeness and accuracy.

- Perform source-to-target reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.

- Identify and remediate migration exceptions and data quality issues.

- Support migration testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

- Maintain migration documentation, mapping specifications, transformation rules, and reconciliation reports.

Required Skills:

- 3 - 6 years of experience in data migration / CRM migration.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM.

- Strong experience with Dataverse data migration.

- Good understanding of ETL, data transformation, and data validation.

- Experience with source-to-target mapping.

- Experience with duplicate, match/merge, and survivorship logic.

- Hands-on experience with trial/mock and production migration loads.

- Strong understanding of data reconciliation, control totals, and exception handling.

- Good knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE entities, relationships, and data structures.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, KingswaySoft, or similar migration/ETL tools.

- Experience with SQL Server and SQL querying.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform / Dataverse architecture.

- Experience in large-scale CRM transformation or migration projects.

- Understanding of data quality and data governance practices.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Ideal Candidate:

A hands-on Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse Data Migration Developer who can independently manage migration activities from data mapping and ETL through trial loads, reconciliation, exception remediation, and production migration.
