Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring reliable data flow, storage, and accessibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing

- Build and optimize data architectures, data lakes, and data warehouses

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across systems

- Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to deliver data solutions

- Optimize performance of queries, pipelines, and storage systems

- Implement data governance, security, and compliance practices

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments

Required Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Scala

- Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi)

- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)

- Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data services

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and modeling techniques

- Familiarity with distributed systems and data processing frameworks

Good to Have :

- Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)

- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes)

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)

- Understanding of data security and compliance standards

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 5- 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
