We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to lead our data transformation initiatives using Snowflake and dbt. In this role, you will architect robust data pipelines and oversee the modeling layer to ensure high-quality data availability for downstream analytics and reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including data scientists and business analysts, to translate complex requirements into efficient, maintainable code. Your contributions will directly influence our clients' ability to make data-driven decisions by optimizing data latency, accuracy, and accessibility across their cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable data models using dbt to streamline complex transformation logic and ensure consistency across the enterprise.

- Optimize Snowflake performance by managing compute resources, query tuning, and implementing effective clustering and partitioning strategies to reduce operational costs.

- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines that integrate diverse data sources into a unified Snowflake data warehouse for improved business intelligence.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish best practices for version control, CI/CD integration, and testing frameworks within the dbt environment.

- Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews to uphold high standards of data quality, security, and documentation.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and managing large-scale data warehouses within the Snowflake ecosystem.

- Advanced proficiency in building modular, reusable data transformation workflows using dbt (Data Build Tool).

- Strong command of SQL for complex data manipulation, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of data-related bottlenecks.

- Proven ability to communicate technical data strategies to non-technical stakeholders and align engineering outputs with business objectives.

- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering high-impact data solutions in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model based out of our Hyderabad or Noida offices, fostering collaboration across distributed teams.

- A minimum of 8 to 12 years of professional experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, or a related technical domain.
