Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), ETL/ELT, SQL, and Data Warehousing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud data solutions, migrating workloads to Snowflake, and building scalable data pipelines using IICS.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake and IICS.

- Build and maintain ETL/ELT mappings, workflows, taskflows, and data pipelines using Informatica IICS.

- Design and implement data warehouse solutions and migrate enterprise data workloads to Snowflake.

- Develop Snowflake stored procedures, views, UDFs, and SQL-based transformations.

- Build and optimize data pipelines for large-volume data processing.

- Integrate source data from SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems into Snowflake.

- Implement data ingestion using IICS, Snowflake COPY, Snowpipe, and related Snowflake utilities.

- Implement and manage Change Data Capture (CDC) using Snowflake Streams and related capabilities.

- Work with Snowflake Tasks, Data Sharing, and Data Replication.

- Develop and maintain data models for analytical and enterprise data warehouse requirements.

- Perform SQL query optimization and Snowflake performance tuning.

- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across data pipelines.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and IT teams to gather requirements and manage dependencies.

- Support CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools such as Azure DevOps or GitLab.

- Explore and leverage new Snowflake capabilities, including Snowflake Cortex and other platform features.

- Troubleshoot data integration, ETL, and production issues and provide appropriate resolutions.

Mandatory Skills :

- 7 to 10 years of overall experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Warehouse technologies.

- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including designing, implementing, or migrating data workloads.

- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS / Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI).

- Strong expertise in Snowflake SQL, stored procedures, views, and UDFs.

- Strong knowledge of Data Modelling and Data Warehousing concepts.

- Excellent SQL skills with experience in query optimization and performance tuning.

- Experience with ETL/ELT data ingestion and integration.

- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA source data with Snowflake.

- Experience with Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, COPY, and Snowpipe.

- Experience with Data Sharing and Data Replication.

- Strong understanding of CDC and incremental data processing.

- Good understanding of cloud data warehouse architecture.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Snowflake Cortex and other latest Snowflake features.

- Experience implementing CI/CD / DevOps using Azure DevOps or GitLab.

- Experience with Snowflake migration and modernization projects.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with data quality, reconciliation, and data governance.

- Snowflake or Informatica certifications.
