About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Data Warehousing concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable cloud-based data solutions, building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and supporting data migration initiatives from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.

- Demonstrate hands-on expertise in Snowflake Architecture, including database design, performance tuning, and optimization.

- Build and manage efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.

- Perform complex data transformation and data integration activities across multiple sources.

- Design, implement, test, and deploy cloud-based data engineering solutions.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.

- Support migration of data platforms and applications from on-premises environments to public cloud platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, analysts, and developers, to deliver data-driven solutions.

- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices in data engineering.

Required Skills :

- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and its architecture.

- Expertise in SQL and database programming.

- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

- Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes.

- Strong knowledge of data transformation, integration, and optimization techniques.

- Experience working with cloud platforms and cloud-based data solutions.

- Exposure to migration projects from on-premises systems to cloud environments.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration and automation tools.

- Familiarity with data governance, security, and performance optimization best practices.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
