Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join our high-impact data platform team in Delhi NCR, Pune, or Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining robust data pipelines that serve as the backbone for our analytical and operational systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and software engineers, to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions. By ensuring the seamless flow and integrity of data across our ecosystem, you will directly influence strategic decision-making and drive significant improvements in our product performance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python to process large-scale datasets, ensuring high availability and data quality for downstream analytics.

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support business intelligence reporting and data warehousing initiatives.

- Build and maintain secure, high-performance APIs to facilitate real-time data exchange between internal platforms and external third-party services.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data bottlenecks and implement performance tuning strategies that enhance system efficiency and reduce latency.

- Automate data workflows and monitoring processes to proactively identify and resolve data integrity issues before they impact business operations.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in writing production-grade Python code for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL, with a proven ability to architect complex database schemas and optimize query performance in large-scale environments.

- Extensive experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs to integrate disparate systems and streamline data ingestion.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate technical data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

- Proven track record of working effectively in a hybrid or collaborative office environment, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to manage projects independently.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, supported by 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
