Data Engineer - Python

Are you passionate about data engineering and security? Do you have strong Python skills and enjoy working with complex, high-volume data systems?

We're looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our Cloud and Platform Security team on a contract basis.

What You'll Do :

- Contribute to data products that provide prioritized, context-aware security recommendations to internal application teams.

- Build RESTful APIs to empower teams to self-serve security insights and integrate risk data directly into their workflows.

- Collaborate with senior engineers and security stakeholders to implement signal correlation logic.

- Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across the entire pipeline system.

- Deploy and manage data services in containerized, Kubernetes-orchestrated environments.

What We're Looking For :

- 3-5 years of experience in software or data engineering.

- Strong proficiency in Python for pipeline development, scripting, and API development.

- Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and data services.

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment in cloud environments.

- Experience with data engineering tools like dbt, Airflow, Kafka, etc.

- Excellent SQL skills and ability to work with complex datasets.

- Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Bonus Points :

- Experience or familiarity with Cloud Security or Vulnerability Management.
