Role Overview :

As a Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of building and maintaining robust data pipelines that power our manufacturing clients' analytical capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data architects, business analysts, and client stakeholders, to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions. Your daily efforts will directly influence the efficiency of manufacturing operations by ensuring that high-quality, actionable data is readily available for reporting and predictive modeling, ultimately driving business performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end data integration workflows using Matillion to ensure seamless data movement from disparate manufacturing systems into the cloud environment.

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures within Snowflake DB to support high-performance data warehousing and analytical reporting.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data models that accurately represent manufacturing processes, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the enterprise.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance to minimize latency and ensure the timely delivery of critical business insights to end-users.

- Implement best practices for data security and governance to protect sensitive manufacturing data while maintaining compliance with organizational standards.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and orchestrating complex ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion within cloud-based data environments.

- Advanced proficiency in Snowflake DB, including performance tuning, schema design, and managing large-scale datasets.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex manufacturing business logic into technical data requirements.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.

- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment based in Bangalore, adapting quickly to evolving project needs.

- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience in data engineering roles, with a strong preference for candidates who have successfully delivered data solutions within the manufacturing domain.
