Job Title : Data Engineer Java & Spark

Role Summary :

Were looking for a Java Developer with 5+ years of experience and strong hands-on skills in Core Java and Spring Boot. You should be confident working with multithreading and have strong knowledge of data structures. Basic-to-good knowledge of Apache Spark is expected.

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer / Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Java and Apache Spark to build and maintain scalable data processing applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java development, Spark-based big data processing, SQL, and ETL/data pipeline development. This role requires hands-on problem solving, performance tuning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain Java/Spring Boot components and services.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and reliability.

- Apply multithreading and concurrency concepts to solve real-world problems.

- Use strong data structures fundamentals to develop optimized solutions.

- Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of software development experience.

- Strong Core Java.

- Hands-on multithreading/concurrency.

- Strong knowledge of data structures.

- Strong Spring Boot.

- Apache Spark.

Key Notes (Important for Candidates) :

- Java is the primary skill and must be strong.

- Spark can be hands-on (6 to 12 months) or strong theoretical understanding.

- Must be comfortable with a 5-week onboarding process.

Candidate Criteria :

- Total Experience : 5+ Years.

- Notice Period : Immediate Joiners, Serving Notice Period, or candidates with a maximum of 30-35 days remaining notice period.

Employment & Onboarding Details :

- Candidates will initially be onboarded on UnionSys Technologies' payroll.

- Upon successful completion of Interim and Final Background Verification, candidates will be converted to Deloitte Full-Time Payroll.

- Expected Onboarding Timeline : Approximately 5 Weeks.

Vendor Commercials :

- Vendor Success Fee : Flat INR 50,000 per successful closure.

Interview Process :

- L1 Technical Interview will be conducted virtually.

- L2 (Karat Coding Assessment) will be conducted In-Person from the respective Deloitte Office location.
