Data Engineer - Incorta

Description :

- Design, develop, and maintain Incorta data models, schemas, and dashboards to support business reporting and analytics.

- Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows for high performance and scalability.

- Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

- Use PySpark or Python for big data processing and integration with Incorta.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver data-driven insights.

- Implement data validation, data quality checks, and ensure data consistency across multiple systems.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Incorta performance issues, ensuring efficient query execution.

- Automate data refreshes and dashboard updates using scheduling tools or APIs.

- Maintain documentation of data models, transformations, and dependencies.

- Stay current on new Incorta features, best practices, and data engineering trends.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3-8 years of experience in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with Incorta (modeling, schema design, dashboard development, performance tuning).

- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or similar RDBMS).

- Experience with Python or PySpark for data processing.

- Understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling (star/snowflake schema).

- Experience with data visualization and building analytical dashboards.

- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data integration tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience integrating Incorta with Oracle ERP, Salesforce, or other enterprise applications.

- Familiarity with REST APIs, data security, and access control in Incorta.

- Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).

- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology.
