Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Snowflake, along with domain knowledge in Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS). The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines supporting commercial, patient, clinical, or real-world data use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using IICS.
- Build scalable data models and transformations in Snowflake.
- Implement data ingestion from structured and semi-structured sources (S3, APIs, flat files, etc.).
- Optimize Snowflake performance (clustering, micro-partitions, query tuning).
- Work with HLS datasets (claims, patient data, CRM, commercial sales, specialty pharmacy, etc.).
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance (HIPAA/GxP awareness preferred).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution design.
- Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Implement CI/CD and version control best practices.
Required Skills:
Technical:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS (CAI/CDI/MDM preferred).
- Strong Snowflake experience (SQL, performance tuning, data modeling).
- Advanced SQL and data transformation expertise.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred).
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts (SCD, Star/Snowflake schema).
- Experience handling large datasets and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON, XML, and semi-structured data.
Domain (HLS):
- Experience working in Healthcare or Life Sciences domain.
- Understanding of:
1. Claims data (Komodo, IQVIA, Symphony, etc.)
2. Specialty pharmacy / Patient Support Programs (PSP)
3. CRM (Veeva/SFDC)
4. Commercial sales analytics
5. Regulatory/compliance requirements
Good to Have:
- Experience with Omnichannel analytics (Adobe, GA, email metrics).
- Exposure to Patient Data, HUB services, or Rare Disease analytics.
- Knowledge of data governance tools.
- Snowflake certification or Informatica certification.
- Agile / SAFe experience.
