About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Databricks Data Engineer to join our team in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Python, and PySpark, along with a solid understanding of data governance and modern data engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks.
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
- Work with Unity Catalog for data governance, access control, and data management.
- Implement and maintain effective data governance and data management practices.
- Develop reliable and high-performance data processing workflows.
- Ensure data quality, security, accessibility, and compliance across data platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing data pipelines and data processing workloads.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Strong experience with Unity Catalog.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Good understanding of Data Governance and Data Management.
- Experience building and optimizing scalable data pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment.
