About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a global pharmaceutical analytics program focused on building modern cloud-based data platforms and enterprise reporting solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.

Responsibilities :

- Execute the various software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities including user stories, use cases, software requirements, design, development and testing

- Implement and maintain software products ensuring the effectiveness of the quality

- Develop test plans and test cases for software components

- Design and implement the optimal data pipeline to ingest and orchestrate the data in Azure to fulfill the business requirements.

Required Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience with Azure data services including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Pipelines, and Synapse Analytics

- Expertise in SQL, Python, Py-Spark or Spark-SQL

- Expertise to develop reports/dashboards in Power BI

- Expertise to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize Azure models, reports and dashboards

- Exposure to Cognitive Services, Log analytics, Function app, Logic App

- Strong analytical and communication skills

- Preferred : Microsoft Certified Data Engineers

- Strong understanding of web technologies, relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL design
