Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled AWS Python Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services, Python, Snowflake, Teradata, and SQL with hands-on experience in building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud-based data integration, and data warehousing solutions. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance data pipelines, optimize data processing, and support business intelligence initiatives for a US-based client.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and AWS cloud services.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data migration and transformation.
- Build and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Teradata.
- Develop reusable Python scripts for data processing, automation, and orchestration.
- Optimize SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval and reporting.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into cloud-based data platforms.
- Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across the data ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to gather and implement data requirements.
- Implement performance tuning for Snowflake and Teradata databases.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
- Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
- Work in an Agile development environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Provide production support and continuous improvements for existing data solutions.
