Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in SQL, Data Pipelines, Java, Data Lakes, Apache Spark, and Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS)- . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions that support scalable and high-performance analytics applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines- for structured and unstructured data.

- Work with SQL databases to build efficient and scalable data models.

- Develop and optimize data integration workflows using Apache Spark .

- Implement data lake architectures and solutions to manage big data workloads.

- Leverage Java programming skills for data processing and pipeline automation.

- Work with cloud platforms such as - Azure or AWS- to implement scalable data solutions.

- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance in all data engineering solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and DevOps teams to optimize data processes.

- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in data pipelines and optimize query performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7 to 11 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.

- Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and optimization.

- Hands-on experience in Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.

- Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows.

- Proficiency in Java for backend data processing.

- Solid understanding of Data Lake architectures- and best practices.

- Experience working with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS .

- Good knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Kafka, Airflow, or similar workflow orchestration tools .

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.

- Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD practices for data engineering.
