Role Overview :

We are looking for a hands-on Data Catalog Engineer with strong experience in implementing and configuring enterprise data catalog platforms such as Atlan, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica EDC.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in metadata management, lineage, automation, APIs, and cloud data platforms, with a strong focus on scalability and governance enablement.

We are specifically looking for candidates who have :

- Hands-on catalog implementation experience.

- Worked on APIs, scripting, and automation.

- Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred).

- Strong understanding of metadata, lineage, and governance workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement, configure, and optimize enterprise data catalog platforms.

- Build integrations using APIs, webhooks, Python, and automation scripts.

- Configure metadata ingestion, lineage, impact analysis, and governance workflows.

- Automate metadata enrichment, tagging, classification, and onboarding.

- Integrate catalog platforms with Snowflake, cloud DWHs, BI tools, and enterprise systems.

- Troubleshoot lineage, ingestion, and metadata quality issues.

- Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and business teams for metadata governance.

Must-Have Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Atlan / Collibra / Alation / Informatica EDC.

- Strong understanding of Metadata Management, Data Lineage & Impact Analysis.

- Experience with APIs, REST integrations, webhooks, and Python scripting.

- Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse platforms.

- Strong SQL and Data Warehousing concepts.
