Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of next-generation Agentic AI systems within our Bangalore innovation hub. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data infrastructure and autonomous AI agents, ensuring that our data ecosystems are not only scalable but also intelligent enough to drive independent decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product stakeholders, and executive leadership to translate business challenges into robust architectural blueprints. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of our AI-driven products, setting the standard for how we leverage data to create autonomous, high-impact business outcomes for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and deploy scalable data architectures on Databricks that support the high-velocity requirements of Agentic AI workflows to ensure seamless model performance.

- Orchestrate complex data pipelines across AWS environments, optimizing for cost, latency, and reliability to provide a stable foundation for autonomous agent operations.

- Establish comprehensive data governance frameworks that ensure compliance, security, and quality, enabling ethical and transparent AI decision-making across the enterprise.

- Partner with data science and engineering teams to integrate agentic frameworks, ensuring that data accessibility and model training cycles are perfectly synchronized for rapid iteration.

- Lead the technical strategy for data lifecycle management, ensuring that all architectural decisions align with long-term business goals and technical scalability requirements.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in architecting end-to-end data solutions on the Databricks platform, with a deep understanding of Lakehouse architecture and its application in AI-heavy environments.

- Proven ability to design and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, specifically focusing on services that support large-scale data processing and AI model deployment.

- Advanced proficiency in implementing robust data governance, lineage, and security protocols, ensuring that autonomous systems operate within strict regulatory and organizational boundaries.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence senior leadership decisions.

- Strong collaborative mindset, capable of mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence within a hybrid work environment in Bangalore.

- A background in Computer Science or a related quantitative field, complemented by 8 - 13 years of progressive experience in data architecture and AI systems design.

- High degree of adaptability, with a track record of successfully navigating evolving AI technologies and integrating them into existing enterprise data stacks.
