Role Overview:
As a Data Architect, you will serve as the strategic bridge between complex business requirements and robust technical solutions. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data ecosystems that empower organizations to derive actionable insights. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into high-performance data architectures. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end data models that support complex analytical requirements, ensuring high data integrity and performance for downstream business intelligence applications.
- Oversee the development of sophisticated ETL pipelines to streamline data ingestion and transformation, reducing latency and improving the reliability of data delivery for end-users.
- Establish comprehensive data governance frameworks to ensure compliance, security, and quality standards are met across all organizational data assets.
- Architect scalable data warehousing solutions that accommodate rapid business growth and evolving data storage needs, enabling seamless access for data scientists and analysts.
- Lead the integration of Big Data technologies into existing infrastructure to handle unstructured and semi-structured data, unlocking new opportunities for advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing complex data models and enterprise-grade data warehousing solutions that align with long-term business objectives.
- Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of ETL processes, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation in high-throughput environments.
- Strong proficiency in implementing data governance policies and security protocols to maintain data privacy and organizational compliance.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical architectures to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.
- Extensive experience working with Big Data ecosystems and cloud-based data platforms to solve large-scale data challenges.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a distributed, remote-first, or hybrid work environment, maintaining high productivity and alignment with global teams.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field, backed by 5 - 10 years of hands-on experience in data architecture and engineering.
