Position Title : Data & Analytics Specialist / Analyst

Location : India (Remote) West Coast Hours Support Required

Reports To : Media Director / Data Operations Manager

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Data & Analytics Specialist/Analyst to join our onshore media team.


This role is critical for managing data infrastructure, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing actionable insights to support our advertising performance measurement.


You will work closely with media teams, clients, and technical stakeholders to maintain data integrity, develop reporting frameworks, and translate complex data into clear business recommendations.


Key Responsibilities :

- Google Analytics Setup & Integration : Set up, configure, and integrate Google Analytics with client websites to enable comprehensive data collection and reporting.

- Data Reporting & QA : Prepare accurate, timely reports using analytics platforms; conduct quality assurance (QA) checks on data to ensure accuracy and completeness before client delivery.

- Database & SQL Management : Work with databases using SQL to extract, query, and analyze raw data; ensure proper data structure and accessibility.

- Digital Data Technologies : Demonstrate working knowledge of digital data technologies including Real-Time Marketing Networks (RMNs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, digital pixel tracking, and site tagging.

- Ad Serving & Analytics Platforms : Manage and optimize ad serving platforms and website analytics software to track advertising performance across channels.

- Customer Journey Analysis : Conduct customer journey analysis and provide insights into media channel performance, conversion paths, and user behavior.

- Data Frameworks & Reporting Tools : Support the development and maintenance of data frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure accurate measurement of advertising performance.

- Stakeholder Communication : Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences (media teams, clients, management).

- Campaign Support : Provide technical details and operational management to ensure campaigns run smoothly and media performance is continuously optimized.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- 3+ Years of Experience in data analytics, digital marketing analytics, or advertising technology roles.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4 and Universal Analytics)

- Working knowledge of SQL and databases

- Experience with ad serving platforms and website analytics software

- Familiarity with digital data technologies (RMNs, DMPs, Adobe Analytics, pixel tracking)

Analytical Capabilities : Strong ability to analyze large data sets, draw meaningful conclusions, and develop data-driven recommendations.

Communication Skills : Ability to clearly explain complex data insights to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Attention to Detail : Meticulous approach to data accuracy, QA processes, and documentation.

Team Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with media teams, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with marketing automation platforms or CDPs.

- Exposure to advanced analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) for dashboard creation.

- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, or basic coding for implementing tracking pixels.

- Knowledge of SEO/SEM reporting and optimization.

- Experience working in media agencies or with advertising technology companies.

Location : India-based (Remote)

Hours : West Coast US hours (Pacific Time) approximately 8 :30 PM to 5 :30 AM IST
