Job Description

Role Overview :

As a CyberSecurity Benchmark Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of offensive security research and advanced data science, tasked with defining the gold standard for how we measure and defend against next-generation threats.

You will lead the design and implementation of rigorous benchmarking frameworks that evaluate the efficacy of AI and ML models in detecting sophisticated cyber-attacks. Working closely with cross-functional teams of security researchers, data scientists, and product architects, you will translate complex threat vectors into actionable performance metrics.

Your work will directly influence the robustness of our security posture, ensuring that our defensive systems remain resilient against evolving adversarial tactics while providing our customers with verifiable, high-confidence protection.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect comprehensive benchmarking suites to quantify the performance, accuracy, and latency of AI-driven security models against diverse adversarial datasets.

- Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to synthesize real-world attack patterns into synthetic test cases, ensuring our security benchmarks reflect the current threat landscape.

- Drive the automation of evaluation pipelines to streamline the deployment of security updates, reducing the time-to-market for critical defensive patches.

- Partner with engineering stakeholders to identify model drift and performance bottlenecks, providing data-backed recommendations to enhance overall system reliability.

- Mentor junior security engineers on best practices for adversarial testing and model validation, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing security benchmarks for AI/ML models, with a deep understanding of adversarial machine learning and model robustness.

- Proven ability to translate complex security requirements into scalable technical solutions, supported by strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Go.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical security risks and performance metrics to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical mindset, capable of managing large-scale datasets to identify patterns and anomalies that inform future security strategies.

- Ability to thrive in a high-autonomy environment, whether collaborating from our Bangalore office or working remotely, while maintaining high standards of documentation and code quality.

- A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, complemented by 7 to 12 years of hands-on experience in security engineering or applied research.
