About RupeeBoss :

RupeeBoss is building modern, tech-first infrastructure for the lending ecosystem - including ONDC-integrated loan journeys, in-house lending stacks, and mobile based apps. We're now expanding into new lending modules and AI-assisted products, and looking for someone who wants to build 0-to-1 alongside the founders.

About the Role :

We're hiring a full-stack developer who's comfortable owning features end-to-end - from a Node.js backend service to the React interface that sits on top of it - and who has worked on or around lending products (LOS/CRM, loan journeys, credit workflows, or similar fintech systems). Exposure to applying AI (LLMs, automation, document/data extraction) within a product context is a strong plus, since several upcoming modules will lean on this.

What You'll Do :

- Design and build backend services (Node.js) and front-end interfaces (React) for new lending modules and products

- Work directly with founders to scope, prototype, and ship features from scratch (true 0-to-1 ownership, not just execution against a finished spec)

- Integrate with third-party lending/credit data sources, bureau APIs, and internal systems (LOS, LMS) and B2B2C integrations

- Explore and implement AI-driven components - e.g., automating parts of underwriting, document processing, or customer-facing workflows

- Take ownership of code quality, deployment, and iteration speed in a small, fast-moving team

What We're Looking For :

- 3 - 5 years of professional experience with Node.js and React in production

- Prior exposure to lending/fintech stacks - loan origination, CRM/LOS systems, credit decisioning, or similar - is important

- Some hands-on exposure to AI/LLM tooling (APIs, agents, RAG, automation) - doesn't need to be deep ML expertise, but genuine working familiarity

- Demonstrated experience building 0-to-1, ideally directly with founders or in an early-stage/startup setting

- Strong self-starter instincts - comfortable with ambiguity, minimal hand-holding, and shifting priorities

- Based out of Mumbai

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with ONDC-based flows

- Experience with mobile integration points

- Exposure to RBI/NBFC compliance considerations in lending products
