Position: Compiler Engineer

About the role:

We are seeking a Compiler Engineer to develop and optimize compilers for custom silicon products. In this role, you will design workload-specific compiler transformations tailored to target hardware, analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, and contribute to hardware/software co-design to improve overall system efficiency.

What you will do:

- Develop and implement compiler optimizations for specialized hardware

- Design workload-specific transformations tailored to target architectures

- Analyze application performance and mitigate bottlenecks

- Collaborate on hardware/software co-design to improve workload efficiency

- Work across compiler, runtime, and hardware layers to deliver end-to-end performance improvements

What we are looking for:

- 7+ years of experience with compiler technologies such as LLVM and MLIR

- Strong understanding of LLVM internals, including code generation, register allocation, and instruction scheduling

- Solid understanding of loop optimizations (e.g., fusion, tiling, unrolling)

- Familiarity with hardware architectures (CPUs, GPUs, and accelerators)

- Ability to work across abstraction layers to optimize system performance
