Cognitive Tech Labs - Wordpress Developer - PHP/MySQL

Job Description :

- Design and develop responsive WordPress websites

- Customize WordPress themes and create clean, user-friendly layouts

- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility

- Manage domain, hosting, DNS, cPanel, and website deployment

- Collaborate with marketing teams to support SEO implementation

- Coordinate with designers for UI/UX and content writers for content integration

- Maintain website performance, security, and compatibility across browsers

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with WordPress Core and PHP

- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

- Experience with custom themes and plugins development

- Knowledge of WordPress hooks (actions & filters)

- Familiarity with WordPress REST API

Tools & Workflow :

- Experience with Git / version control systems

- Knowledge of Composer, npm, or build tools (preferred)

- Familiarity with local development environments (XAMPP, Docker, Local WP, etc.)

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with WooCommerce customization

- Knowledge of Gutenberg block development

- Familiarity with SEO best practices

- Experience with multisite WordPress setups

- Exposure to headless WordPress

- Understanding of web hosting environments (Apache, Nginx)
