Engineering Manager - Performance, Chaos Engineering & Security Validation

Job Summary :

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead Performance Engineering, Chaos Engineering, and Security Validation initiatives for large-scale distributed systems.

The role involves driving performance, scalability, resilience, and security testing strategies, identifying system bottlenecks, building reusable automation frameworks, and improving system observability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive performance, scalability, resilience, and security testing strategies for distributed systems.

- Identify and resolve application, API, database, and infrastructure bottlenecks.

- Design and execute chaos engineering and fault-injection experiments to evaluate system resilience.

- Develop reusable automation frameworks and testing tools.

- Establish observability through metrics, logs, traces, and monitoring dashboards.

- Lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Drive technical decisions and take ownership of end-to-end engineering outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Quality Engineering.

- Hands-on expertise with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, or similar tools.

- Experience with Chaos Engineering tools such as LitmusChaos and Chaos Mesh.

- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, APIs, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and observability tools.

- Exposure to application and API security testing.

- Proven ability to drive technical decisions and manage end-to-end engineering outcomes.
