Job Title : Workato AI Integration Specialist

The Opportunity : We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Workato AI Specialist to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable Automation/Genie solutions using the Workato platform, with a strong focus on leveraging its AI capabilities to automate complex business processes and connect disparate applications.

Responsibilities :

1. AI-Powered Automation : Utilize Workato's AI capabilities (e.g., AI by Workato connector, IDP by Workato, Agentic AI) to build intelligent automations, including :

- Genie development and deployment

- Implementing natural language processing (NLP) for text analysis, categorization, and drafting.

- Developing intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions for data extraction and reconciliation.

- Designing and deploying AI agents for autonomous task execution and decision-making within workflows.

- Leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for context-aware responses from large language models (LLMs).

2. Application Integration : Establish and maintain secure, reliable, and efficient integrations between a diverse range of applications (e.g., Netsuite, Coupa, Concur, Zuora) using Workato connectors, APIs (REST, SOAP), webhooks, and other integration patterns.

3. Solution Design & Architecture : Lead and collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and IT teams to define technical specifications and propose optimal Workato-based solutions.

4. Data Transformation & Mapping : Expertly handle data transformation, mapping, and enrichment across integrated systems, ensuring data integrity.

5. Error Handling & Monitoring : Implement robust error handling mechanisms, logging, and monitoring solutions for Workato recipes.

6. Performance Optimization : Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Workato integrations.

7. Documentation & Best Practices : Create comprehensive technical documentation and promote Workato best practices, governance, and security standards.

8. Troubleshooting & Support : Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for Workato integrations.

9. Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest Workato features, AI advancements, and industry trends.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

- Proven 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying Genie using Workato platform.

- Finance Genie experience.

- Strong understanding of Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) concepts and enterprise application integration (EAI) patterns.

- Demonstrated experience with Workato's AI capabilities, including building solutions with AI by Workato, IDP, or Agentic AI.

- Proficiency in working with various APIs (REST, SOAP), webhooks, and different data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Workato certifications (e.g., Automation Pro I, II, III, Integration Developer) are highly desirable.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Zapier).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of microservices architecture.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
