About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer (NetOps + Cloud) to manage, support, and optimize enterprise network and security infrastructure across Data Centers and Public Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI).

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network operations, troubleshooting, cloud networking, security infrastructure, and enterprise-scale network implementation. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of ensuring network stability, availability, performance, and security in a highly scalable, global environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Operations & Infrastructure Management :

- Manage and support enterprise Network & Security Infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI cloud environments.

- Ensure network stability, performance, availability, and reliability for enterprise on-premises and public cloud networks.

- Monitor and maintain global network infrastructure, including Data Centers, Campus Networks, and WAN Connectivity.

- Support large-scale enterprise networking environments and ensure adherence to operational best practices.

Troubleshooting & Incident Management :

- Monitor network operations queues and proactively address network infrastructure incidents and escalations.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network connectivity, performance, routing, and security-related issues.

- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implement preventive and corrective actions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to resolve complex networking challenges.

Cloud Networking & Security :

- Configure and support cloud networking solutions across at least one major public cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI).

- Implement and manage network layer security controls, including Firewalls, VPNs, Network Authentication Systems, and Secure Access technologies.

- Ensure secure and optimized connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.

- Participate in cloud network architecture discussions and infrastructure enhancements.

Network Design & Implementation :

- Support enterprise network implementation and operations at scale across Data Centers and Public Cloud Infrastructure.

- Work on Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, routing, switching, and virtualization technologies.

- Contribute to enterprise network design for global WAN connectivity, cloud networking, and hybrid infrastructure environments.

- Assist in implementing network improvements for scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization :

- Continuously monitor network performance and availability to ensure optimal operations.

- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements for enhanced network efficiency and uptime.

- Maintain operational documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and incident reports.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Network Operations and Implementation across Data Centers and Public Cloud environments at scale.

- Proficiency in at least one Public Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI) with cloud networking experience.

- Strong understanding of Enterprise Network Design, including :

a. Data Center Networking

b. Campus Networking

c. Public Cloud Networking

d. Global WAN Connectivity

e. Networking Expertise

- Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including :

a. IPv4 / IPv6

b. BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)

c. VPN Technologies

d. Layer 2 / Layer 3 Switching

e. VxLAN

f. Hardware & Vendor Experience

- Hands-on experience with networking hardware and platforms, including :

a. Arista (L2/L3, CVP) Mandatory

b. Cisco (Spine-Leaf Architecture, L2/L3, IOS, NX-OS)

c. Meraki (Wireless Networking)

d. Palo Alto Networks

e. Load Balancers (Good to Have)

- Experience with one or more of the following load balancers is preferred :

a. Citrix NetScaler (Preferred)

b. AVI Load Balancer

c. NGINX

d. HAProxy

e. Network Security

- Strong understanding of Network Security Concepts, including :

a. Firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)

b. 802.1X Authentication

c. Network Authentication Systems

d. VPN Technologies

e. Secure access and network segmentation practices

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Public Cloud Network Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI) will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
