Role Overview :
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for fortifying the cloud infrastructure of our clients against evolving cyber threats. You will work closely with DevOps teams, software architects, and stakeholders to integrate security protocols directly into the development lifecycle. Your daily contributions will involve auditing cloud environments, automating security responses, and ensuring that infrastructure remains compliant with industry standards, ultimately safeguarding critical data and maintaining system integrity for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement robust security architectures across AWS and GCP environments to protect sensitive client data from unauthorized access.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines to identify and remediate vulnerabilities early in the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure to proactively mitigate potential risks and threats.
- Develop and maintain automated security monitoring tools to ensure real-time visibility into infrastructure health and compliance posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to provide guidance on secure coding practices and cloud-native security configurations.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and securing complex cloud environments, specifically within AWS and GCP ecosystems.
- Proven ability to implement DevSecOps methodologies, including the automation of security gates and compliance checks within deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security, including identity and access management, network security, and encryption protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex security requirements into actionable tasks for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Capability to work effectively in a hybrid or on-site environment in Bangalore or Mumbai, demonstrating high adaptability to evolving project requirements.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 1 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
